Everest Base Camp Height/Elevation/Altitude

Mount Everest Base Camp is the famous challenging destination for the trekkers who want to follow the footprints of legends Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. Famous for spectacular mountain peaks, friendly Sherpa people, natural vistas, monasteries and Lukla Airport, the Everest region is one of the most popular trekking destination in Nepal.

Elevation of Everest base camp is 17500 ft.

Everest base camp is of two routes on opposite sides of Mount Everest; South Base Camp is in Nepal with the elevation of 5,364m and North Base camp is in Tibet with the elevation 5,150m. South Base Camp is used for the climbing via Southeast ridge whereas North Base Camp is used for climbing via the northeast ridge.
