An Indian mountaineer Malavath Purna (also called as Malavath poorna, Purna Malavath or Poorna Malavath) at the age of 13 years and 11 months became the first youngest girl to climb Mount Everest on 25th May 2014. She was accompanied by her 17 year old friend Sandhana Palli Anand Kumar from Khammam. She climbed Mount Everest just a month after 16 sherpa guided died in the dreadliest Everest avalanche. After Mount Everest, Poorna successfully scaled Mt. Elbrus, the highest peak in Russia and in Europe on 27th july, 2017. With these attemps she has proved that girls can do everything whatever boys can do and A featured film has been released about the biopic on Poorna - the youngest girl to climb Mt. Everest.
