Missing Israeli trekker declared dead in Nepal

Israeli Trekker found dead in Nepal

An Israeli national Amit Mosche Reichman (42) who has gone missing in Nepal declared dead in Annapurna Circuit. According to the tourism officials, he had arrived Nepal on October 2 and taken permission from NTB Pokhara, for trekking to Annapurna base Camp after Mardi Himal.

Reichman had contacted his family on 17 October 2016 and since then, he is out of contact with anyone. Since then, a joint search team including Nepal Police, locals, tourist guides and search professional from Israeli embassy had been making every effort possible to search Riechman.

Now he has been officially declared dead, Jeusalem Online writes. Yet, Reichman's family remains hopeful that he or his body will be located and recovered. Trekking accidents are the major cause of deaths during Trekking in Nepal.
